The Essential Screen Actor's Toolkit

Your ability to work at optimum level in the audition room and on-set, and to make strong clear performance decisions within the dual frameworks of genre and the writer's intentions are critical to your success as a working professional actor. This class is a unique opportunity to work closely with actor, director and producer, Tim Ross.

 

Suitable for both beginners and the more experienced screen actor, this weekly night class is designed to develop and hone a range of skills, abilities and techniques that are the essential elements of the professional screen actor's toolkit.

 

You will acquire processes, methodologies and tools that are key to preparing you for work as a professional actor. You will discover the "unique you" and learn to apply your individual essence to each role. You will explore and develop your abilities in:

 

- Auditioning for the screen

- Acting for the Screen

- Self taping

- Making clear character decisions

- Script analysis

- Discovery and exploration of genre

 

Please note that class numbers are strictly capped allowing our tutor to provide one-on-one tailored tuition and feedback to each student.
